It is advised that one takes the pills together with grapefruit juice. This reduces the risk of indigestion and stomach upsets. While indigestion might persist for only two hours, muscle cramps and back pain can take up to two days after taking the pill. The best thing is that the pain is normally mild and tolerable.
Runny nose. The experience of runny or stuffy nose is normally mild and it goes away within a few hours.
The less common side effects of Cialis are;
Partial or complete loss of vision or hearing. There are very few cases where men have lost their hearing or sight after using Cialis. The good news is that in all reported cases the men recovered their ability to hear and see. However, they avoided Cialis during the recovery period.
Priapism. This is a health condition characterized by erections which last for extremely long or painful erections that don’t go away. In such a case, one should call for emergency medical help because the condition may lead to permanent inability to get an erection in the future. It can also result in tissue necrosis.
Liver, kidney and heart problems. Cialis can lead to heart, kidney and liver problems. For this reason, men with a medical history of health disorders that affect their liver and/or kidneys, or a recent stroke or heart attack are advised to refrain from using this drug. It is also not supposed to be used by patients suffering from penis deformations, retinitis pigmentosa, stomach ulcers, and blood cell problems such as leukemia, myeloma and sickle cell anemia.
These side effects hardly occur, but it is very important that you tell your doctor your entire medical history so that you get advice before using this drug. Even with these side effects, Cialis remains to be the safer alternative to the other erectile dysfunction meds.
